White Cliffs Country welcomes The World Human Powered Vehicle Championships in July this year.
About the Event…
This is a great chance to see Human Powered Vehicle riders of all types from across Europe and beyond at the spectacular Betteshanger Park just 10km from The White Cliffs Hotel, for three days of closed track racing and camaraderie for the 2018 World Human Powered Vehicle Championships.
From the 13th-15th July meet racers, modders and home-builders and see some of the fastest human powered vehicles around, in a place where new ideas and new riders are always welcomed.
And what’s more, it’s FREE to go along and spectate…
About the Venue..
Betteshanger Sustainable Park is a unique and ambitious project, or rather a series of exemplary environmentally sustainable projects, which has been built on the 121 hectare site of the former Betteshanger colliery just up the road from The White Cliffs in East Kent.
It is a once-in-a-generation opportunity for everyone to see how ‘old energy’ can be transformed into ‘new energy’ and to get involved with the generation of renewable energy first hand.
