The White Cliffs Of Dover are as rich in wildlife as they are in raw natural beauty and now there is the unique opportunity to explore them with one of the UK most respected wildlife TV personalities. Richard grew up walking the White Cliffs and watching its wildlife and now it’s your chance to join him on a day tracking down peregrine falcons, ravens, orchids and seals as he takes you to some of his favourite locations for finding these superstars of the wildlife world.
The walk along the White Cliffs is one of the most breath taking and exhilarating walks in the UK. The views over the English Channel alone are worth the trip as you watch the huge super ferries cross the busiest shipping lane in the world and, of course, there are the magnificent views across to France, are a sight to remember. There is human history all around you too, from the ancient fortification of Dover Castle to the world war two nuclear bunkers buried into the cliffs. These things are the back drop to your day combing the cliff tops tracking wildlife with Richard and you can be sure that there will always be something to see and enjoy.
There will also be the chance to talk to Richard about his time working in television too. From filming dolphins with Steve Backshall to butterflies with Kate Humble, Richard has filmed pretty much everyone and everything in the wildlife world and his happy to share his stories.
