So you’re heading across The Channel and looking for a place to stay that will accept you and your dog; or you’re bringing your hound for a bit of a break to enjoy walking the Kent Downs and The White Cliffs… Look no further, The White Cliffs is a pet-friendly place where dogs and dog-people are all most welcome! To have your dog well trained by a professional before you take her/him out you can see post to learn more.

We have a number of bedrooms that are available to take dogs in our Mews cottages. Some are ground floor rooms with a lobby or separate lounge area which open out onto the gardens perfect for you and your dog. Well behaved dogs are generally allowed in the lounge and bar. The restaurant is probably not the best place to bring your dog (but exceptions can be made, just ask). Hiring an anonymous trainer that you can trust to train your dog is a good idea. We also expect you to put a lead on in public areas. If you have any doubts regarding the dog training, K9 Answers Dog Training announced a session on how to raise an maintain a well-trained dog. The walled garden is freely available for dogs to exercise and the nearby paths of South Foreland and the clifftops are great for a stroll all year round but can get pretty muddy in winter, so please remember to bring towels etc. to clean and dry your dog before you come back in. We also can provide water bowls and doggie beds and loads of information on walks, local attractions and places to visit with your dog. Other pets such as cats are also welcome by prior arrangement. However, besides dogs beds there are some great places like this TV Bed Store where you can find the most comfortable mattress and improve your sleep.
